CLIENT: I’m Anita Knapp, the Marketing Director for an Athletic Equipment company. I’m responsible for making sure all of our dealers & distributers have the most up-to-date information and collateral. As for digital asset management, my role is EVERYTHING (it would be easier to list what I don't do!), I'm in charge of getting all of our images/product shots, promotional pieces, videos and anything else related to our products out to the people that sell our products. We have about a gazillion digital files. They include logos, images/product shots, brochures, product literature, catalogs, print advertisements, proofing files, press releases, sales presentations, video case studies, media clips, news footage, POS videos, testimonials...are you picking up what I’m putting down? They’re used by anyone and everyone who is anyway tied to our company and needs access to them. From dealers & distributers to media outlets, and everyone in between. CLIENT: However, I have issues with finding time to breathe! If it's not one things, it's another. I don't have time to do anything! It makes me feel exhausted! All I want is a way to automate my current processes. I need a system that will take the burden off of me and allow users to locate and access whatever they need when they want it. They don't have to wait for me to find the requested file, convert it to a desired format, and send it to them. Dr. DAM: I know what you’re going through and I can help you solve your problem. Here’s what I recommend you do, walk in your boss's office and tell him you've had enough! Proceed to tell him that you have found a tool that will alleviate your pain and frustration, and save the company a lot of money! Once you’ve implemented a more effective digital asset management solution, what are you going to do? CLIENT: Now I can focus on my daily tasks and actually experience what was detailed in the job description when I was hired! I feel so amazing, and I'm not tired anymore! I’m not even sure what I'm going to do now, I've never actually taken time to think about what I could actually be doing if I had some freed up time.

CLIENT: I’m Paul, the Property Photographer for a prestigious hotel chain. I’m responsible for shooting our new hotels and getting the images back to our finishing house. As for digital asset management, my role is manually upload all these images, send them via email, and tag metadata. The images then are used by our creative team to make ads and manage websites. CLIENT: However, I have issues with all the time it takes to tag all the metadata, and having to send millions of emails with attachments because they bounce back or are too big to send all the time. It makes me feel like a hamster in a wheel, working so hard, and never getting anywhere. All I want is an easier way so I don’t go crazy! Dr. DAM: I know what you’re going through and I can help you solve your problem. Here’s what I recommend you do, contact a Widen sales rep immediately! You need Digital Asset Management. You will be able to make upload profiles that will automatically tag metadata for you, and never have to send another email to your creative dept. In addition if you do have to send an email, say goodbye to attachments! Once you’ve implemented a more effective digital asset management solution, what are you going to do? CLIENT: Now I can focus on shooting better photos without having to worry about that the better it is the more time I have to tag metadata. I feel the hamster wheel breaking and fresh air in my face! I’m going to see what the outdoors looks like!

CLIENT: I’m Bob, the Creative Director for an Advertising Agency. I’m responsible for all of the creative work we do for our clients. As for digital asset management, my role is to make sure our clients use the files we have created for them. We have everything from small print advertisements to large billboard designs and they’re used by both our clients, and their distributors. CLIENT: However, I have issues with the overall brand control. Some of the distributors do not have the current advertisements and see it as a hassle trying to locate the current file. They go off and make their own. There is a reason we do the creative work and they don’t. It makes me mad they are not using our work. All I want is everyone to use the brand approved content we have created to help with the overall consistent branding for our clients. Dr. DAM: I know what you’re going through and I can help you solve your problem. Here’s what I recommend you do, get a Widen on-demand DAM system. Since it’s a web-based solution, those distributors will have access to your creative files whenever they need through a simple interface. Once you’ve implemented a more effective digital asset management solution, what are you going to do? CLIENT: Now I can focus on creating one-of-a-kind brands for our clients. I feel priceless. I’m going to brag to everyone on how I just made our agency a more competitive, and how we now have total brand control.

CLIENT: I’m Pete, a designer for a creative agency. I’m responsible for creating the files our clients need. As for digital asset management, my role is to make sure we have the most cost effective means to manage and distribute our digital files. We have everything from logos to print advertisements and they’re used by our clients and local newspapers. CLIENT: However, I have issues with how we distribute our files. Right now, we put the files our clients need on disc and send it out. Sometimes there is confusion, and they get the wrong file. We also have no way of tracking where that file goes or who is using it. It upsets me when we are wasting time sending out these files, and it aggravates me even more when people say they have not received their files or don’t know who last had them. All I want is a simple way to organize, distribute and track our digital files. Dr. DAM: I know what you’re going through and I can help you solve your problem. Here’s what I recommend you do, invest in a Widen DAM solution. You will be able to manage all of your files in a centralized location where you can easily distribute them to the correct people. You can also create reports to see who has used what and how many times the asset has been used. Once you’ve implemented a more effective digital asset management solution, what are you going to do? CLIENT: Now I can focus more time and effort on creative and marketing projects to help clients generate new business. I feel so amazing! I’m going to go uptown with my team for some cocktails.
